Arenas shopping center in Plaça Espanya has the astonishing feature of being a bullring reconverted into a mall. You will be able to spot it because of its old façade, which has been preserved but, on the inside, it has the latest decoration and design. From its terrace, where you can reach by using a panoramic elevator, you will get 360 degree views of the surroundings.
This mall, known as Arenas de Barcelona, is a hot spot for shopping with famous stores like FC Barcelona Botiga, Desigual, Calvin Klein Jeans, United Colors of Benetton, Superdry, Mango and Agatha Paris. Stores are open from 10:00 to 22:00h Monday through Saturday, while food and drinks establishments don’t close until late at night, especially during the weekend.
You can get there by riding the L1 or L3 metro lines or getting off at the Plaça Espanya stop during your Bus Turístic or Barcelona city Tour journeys.
On Sundays and Holidays, you will always find clothing, shoes and other stores open 10:00 to 22:00h in Barcelona. Where? At Maremagnum shopping mall, open 365 days a year. You will also find international brands among the stores at Maremagnum in Barcelona: Swaroski, Watx, Munich, Lacoste, Havaianas and Diesel.
Its unique location virtually on sea waters and the emblematic bridge you need to go across to get there will make the visit so much worth it. If you have already finished your stroll along Las Ramblas, and you can see Columbus monument, all you have to do is head for the port and you’ll find yourself in this fantastic setting of restaurants and shops that, contrary to many other places in Barcelona, don’t close on Sundays.
